A solar eclipse causes holes in the ozone layer and sends icy cold air from the upper atmosphere down to the ground. First sighted in Australia the freezing cold cloud shrouds large parts of the world causing a quick death of those who gets caught in its path. The world risks a global disaster and a new ice age, colder than ever before. Jack Tate (Michael Shanks) is a weather scientist, who is at first met with doubt by the scientific community, but ultimately must find a way to close the hole and save the world and his wife and daughter. |
