Wilbur (David Berón) the pig, filled with friendship, is overjoyed to meet Cardigan, (Harrison Chad) a lonely lamb outcasted by the rest of the sheep because the color of his wool. Wilbur immediately makes him his friend and shows Cardigan the joys of farm life, and what dangers to look out for. A few weeks later, Farmer Zuckerman (Jerry Houser) suddenly sells Cardigan to another farmer. Wilbur becomes determined to regain the bond with his new friend. Wilbur, along with Charlotte's children: Joy, Aranea, and Nellie and Templeton the rat, set out to find Cardigan and bring him back to the Zuckerman farm.
